  • Prioritised features given the limited timeline

  • QA and testing

From Screen full of numbers, to Actionable Insights and meaningful data

Group 14.png

A team of four- Project manager, UX and the UI designer went for a one on one contextual research, to better understand his daily work routine, how sellers uses our panel, app as well as competitors’. We understood their physical shipment procedure and how our app can play a role. We managed to gather insights from 8 sellers across Delhi, in one and a half day.  The insights discovered during the research were delivered as features that address the user behavior and motivation.

DATA SAID

It was noted that the app is not being used by smaller sellers. We have more than 1 lakh merchants registered with us and only 19 thousand active users, out of which only around 7 thousand received more than 1 order a month. We needed to bridge this gap

USERS SAID

SELLERS DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE DASHBOARD

We are business men we do not understand statistics. The dashboard proved to a be acquiring a lot of screen estate with less value to the users.

ENGAGEMENT IN THE APP WAS LOW, NO EXTRA VALUE ADDITION

The seller app gave no extra value to the seller as compared to the  panel, and since printing is easier on desktop, app was used only to acknowledge orders.

SELLERS WERE NOT CLICKING THE FAB ICON, as they did not understand it

One of our important actions: Add New Product was in the form of a FAB icon, which was completely ignored by the sellers, as there was no support text to explain what the icon meant.

SELLERS WERE LESS INFORMED, THEY DO NOT CHECK EMAILS TOO OFTEN

They were not aware of good feature updates, the interface did not guide them, They were not aware of promotion campaigns, because they never check their mails and we updated the sellers through mails.
